My service appointment at Kendall on Jan. 31 for my Odyssey was not as satisfactory as previous ones. All of the staff was courteous. The service technician called to inform me of the recommended repairs and costs to which I agreed. My husband was very unhappy that they recommended replacing the rotors in the brakes at 55,000 miles but how would I know. My dismay relates to the fact that when I made the appointment I asked them to help me remove the dash drawer that would not close because something had slipped behind it. I also mentioned it to the service tech in the 7 AM phone call and he said I should mention it to the person I picked the car up from. When I picked up the car I mentioned it. The mechanic looked at me and said he had no idea how to fix that so he took the car back into the bay to consult another mechanic who said they would have to take the dashboard apart to do that. At that point I decided it would need to be repaired on my next repair visit. I was quite disappointed with the breakdown in communication and not getting that drawer closed..
Thank you Honda for getting us in so quickly for repair work. We always feel satisfied that the work is done well. And I might add, that everyone is extremely courteous.
